About the Director:
David Armstrong was born in Liverpool, England and graduated from the school of Computing and Mathematical Science at Liverpool John Moores University in 1997. His first major role was working for Cap Gemini UK Ltd and then with other consultancies across the UK. David then became the regional systems manager for a major UK government body.
The opportunity to move to Australia came at the end of January 2003, when some family friends moved to the Gold Coast, in the ‘Sunshine State’ of Queensland.
David lived in Australia for over 8 years, visiting as many places as possible in between working and travelling back to the UK to spend time with friends and family.
Working in association with vendors such as Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, Dell, and HP David built a strong reputation with the Australian ICT industry. Being involved in a major vendor multi-international product implementation across the APAC region, David spent some time in PNG as well as across Australia.
As Business Development and Account Manager for DWS Advanced Business Solutions, David worked with such clients as Virgin Blue, Telstra, Origin and Large Government Accounts, providing professional consultancy services for some of their major projects.
David still maintains close ties with the team in addition to other Australian associates. David became an Australian Citizen in December 2010 and returned to the UK at the beginning of 2011, where:
